Sponsorship for ALL Five (5) of the Shravana Masam Somavara (Monday) Rudrabhishekams (Abhishekam for Lord Shiva), Pujas and Homams and Bilwapatra Pujas to Sri Mahalakshmi and Lord Sriman Narayan
The Rudrabhishekam is the primary way to worship Lord Shiva. It is well-known that Lord Shiva is an abhishekapriya (lover of ablutions). In this puja, Lord Shiva is worshiped in his Rudra form on Shravana Mondays. It is hailed in all Vedic scriptures as one of the greatest pujas to remove all evils, to attain all desires, and for all around prosperity. This puja is performed for the sake of washing away one’s sins and afflictions. It brings peace, prosperity, happiness, and family togetherness. Performing this puja for Lord Shiva is an excellent remedy for anything not in harmony with nature (doshas), and for all-around success in all areas of life.
In the Shravan month, the Panchamukhi Shiva lingam is worshiped with water, milk, curd (yogurt), sugar, ghee, honey, flowers, and bilwa leaves.
All of the 14,641 recitations of the Rudram would not be complete without performing Rudra Homa, a very powerful Vedic fire ceremony honoring Lord Shiva. In general, performing Rudra Homa brings blessings for good health, prevents untimely or accidental death, increases vitality, boosts spiritual energy, eliminates famine or poverty, promotes mental peace and bestows courage and power.
During this exceptional Shravana Masam Maha Mandala Pujas taking place at Manidweepa Mahasamasthanam, the benefits that we get from participating in these sacred events are multiplied thousands of times. Through the process of sankalpa, sponsors of these sacred events will be directly connected to the ceremony as if they were personally performing the abhishekams, pujas and homams.
In the section before below, please enter the name of the primary person for whom the pujas are being sponsored. This name will be recited during the sankalpa. Please list up to four additional names and nakshatras only. It is not necessary to list all family members' names, as they will automatically receive blessings through the primary sponsor. If you know the primary sponsor's nakshatra (Vedic birthstar), you may enter it below. If you don't know the gotra or nakshatra, it's fine to leave this blank.
If the prasadam shipping address is different from the home address, please complete the field below. Please be aware that it may take several weeks to receive your prasadam, since it is being mailed from India.
