Sri Bhakta Maha Ganapati Puja & Homa - Ganesha Navaratri Festival (Day 2 - Sept. 11, 2021)

Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha!

Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most popular of Hindu festivals. This is the birthday of Sri Ganesha. It is the day most sacred to Lord Ganesha .

There is no day more powerful to pay homage to the remover of obstacles, the majestic Lord Ganesha, than this day. On the auspicious 4th day after the new moon in the lunar month of Bhadrapada, Ganesha was born from the body of Parvati Devi Herself. When we worship Lord Ganesha on this day known as Ganesha Chaturthi, His blessings pour into our life, removing obstacles, protecting us and gracing us in so many ways

On this second Ganesha Chaturthi Navaratri day, the following very powerful pujas (ritual worship) and homas (sacred fire ceremonies) will be performed at Amma’s Forest Ashram to enhance brahma tejas and extend ones lifespan. The Shanti homa will remove undesired astrological effects on you nakshatra.

  • Abhishekas with panchamrtam
  • Decoration with flowers
  • 108 Names Archana with flowers
  • Harati
  • Naivedya Samarpanam
  • Sri Navagraha Shanti Homam
  • Sri Bhakti Ganapati Homam with 1001 Modukas
  • Evening: Pradosha puja, naivedya and special Maha Mangala Harati.

Amma has directed her temple priests to perform these special pujas and homas during this Ganesh Chaturthi Navaratri, as these sacred and authentic ceremonies will become even more powerful due to them being performed on these very sacred days.

Sri Ganesha will protect you from any bad luck and will remove all obstructions from your path, such that you will enjoy renewed hope, abundant energy, and an inspired enthusiasm for life.

Those who sponsor will have these ceremonies performed on their behalf (as well as on the behalf of their family members) and will be sent energized prasadam.

Jai Sri Ganesha!

"Nakshatra" means "birth star," and this term refers to the constellation of stars that most strongly influences your mind, your basic nature, and your life patterns. There are twenty-seven nakshatras, and each person falls under one nakshatra, according to the time and place of birth. Each nakshatra grants certain positive tendencies as well as negative tendencies.

Special Instructions for Sponsorship Orders

Before each homam or puja is performed in Amma's Lalita Temple, a "sankalpa" is recited in Sanskrit, a divinely powerful language. During the sankalpa, the names of all the sponsors are recited. Amma assures us that when we are included in a sankalpa, we become spiritually connected to the power of the divine ceremony and receive its full benefits immediately, just as if we were physically present.

In the section before below, please enter the name of the primary person for whom the festival is being sponsored. This name will be recited during the sankalpa. Please list up to five additional names and nakshatras only. It is not necessary to list all family members' names, as they will automatically receive blessings through the primary sponsor. If you know the primary sponsor's nakshatra (Vedic birthstar), you may enter it below. If you don't know the gotra or nakshatra, it's fine to leave this blank.

ONLY If the prasadam shipping address is different from the billing address, please complete the field below. Please be aware that it may take several weeks to receive your prasadam, since it is being mailed from India.

The Sri Bhakta Maha Ganapati Puja & Homa will take place at Amma's Penusila ashram in India on Sat. Sept. 11 (IST).
