This chanting booklet contains Sri Lalita Sahasranama Stotram and Namavalih in English and in Devanagari. Sri Lalita Sahasranama is one of the key practices recommended by Amma, as it brings the infinite blessings of Sri Lalita Parameswari.
When we chant Sri Lalita Sahasranama, the thousand names of Lalita Devi, we are drenched in the nectarean love and compassion of Divine Mother. Not only do we receive her abundant motherly affection, we also receive her most loving blessings for good health, financial stability, a harmonious home life, and the attainment of brahmananda sukham, the highest bliss of enlightenment.
This stotram is one of the most important scriptures for use in worshipping the sacred Sri Chakra, the embodiment of Divine Mother herself. From Amma's Introduction: "When chanted with love and devotion, the energy contained within the Lalita Rahasya Sahasranama Stotram will carry us inexorably towards the supreme goal of spiritual liberation and highest divine consciousness. May all be blessed with divine peace through the recitation of this divine Sri Lalita Sahasranama." From Light on Lalita Sahasranama: "The names of Lalita Sahasranama are like beautiful, fragrant flowers which cannot be found in this world. They come from the garden of Manidwipa, the abode of Devi herself. No one has the courage to pluck those flowers from that garden.
Thus, from the plant itself, the flowers are offered to the lotus feet of Divine Mother. The eight Vasinyadi Vagdevatas have emerged from Devi herself. Seeing the thousand flowers at the feet of Divine Mother, they have gathered them and offered them as prasadam to the rishis, who in turn have given them to all of humanity."
