Calotropis gigantea (crown flower)is popularly known as jilledu in Telugu,Arka in Sanskrit,Madar in hindi.This tree is very special and its roots are very rare where they take the shape of Lord Ganesha over a period of twenty one years. Swetarka Ganapati is one of the purest and rarest sacred form or piece on this earth. Ark plant has green and blue leaves. Its flowers are of small size but without any fragrance. The Ark species is a rare white plant, which also has white flowers.

It is believed that worship of Ganesha in this form enjoy the presence of Goddess Laxmi and Lord Shiva.
